🔄 Return & Refund Policy

At DEPAT, we prioritize your satisfaction and aim to make your online grocery shopping experience safe, simple, and stress-free. This Return & Refund Policy outlines the terms under which products can be returned or refunded in accordance with Indian Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.


✅ Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • Wrong item delivered

  • Expired or damaged products

  • Missing items from the order

  • Items not matching the product description

To initiate a return, the issue must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

⚠ Perishable goods like dairy, fresh fruits, vegetables, and frozen items are non-returnable unless they are delivered in damaged or spoiled condition.

  • All eligible returns must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Products must be returned in unused, original condition, along with packaging and any free items.


📞 How to Request a Return or Refund

🔁 Return Process

  1. Once your request is approved, we’ll schedule a pickup (if applicable).

  2. Our delivery agent will inspect the item upon pickup.

  3. Post verification, we will process the refund or exchange as per your preference.

 

🚫 Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund unless damaged:

  • Fresh Fruits & Vegetables

  • Dairy Products

  • Frozen Items

  • Bread and Bakery Items

  • Products purchased on clearance sale

  • Opened or used hygiene/personal care products


🧾 Cancellations

Before Delivery:

  • Orders can be cancelled before dispatch from our store.

  • To cancel, contact us via WhatsApp or email with your Order ID.

After Dispatch:

  • Once dispatched, the order cannot be cancelled.

  • In such cases, you may choose to return eligible products upon delivery.


⚖ Consumer Rights

As per Indian Consumer Law, you are entitled to:

  • Return defective/damaged goods

  • Receive a refund or replacement

  • Raise complaints if unfair practices are observed
